I’m not sure how I feel about all this romance stuff. I sometimes think they are turning it in to a soap opera, but at the same time I do like Kensi and Deeks, and Eric and Nell. I just think they focus more on who’s getting together with whom sometimes. I do prefer Callen single (to let my mind roam;). But it could be they (directors) are stirring things up to get everyone all bothered over nothing. (i.e. Paris and Callen) Overall I think it will be some really good banter, which I love, between Sam and Callen.

Charla, I totally agree with you. It is becoming more and more a soap.
I don’t care if Kensi and Deeks are together. Let them be but don’t make a fuss about their relationship. I like them as team members and their partnership is sometimes really funny. But the writers should not focus on their partner- / relationship. It annoys me (and not only me).
And I guess (and hope) that this blind date is just a one-dater and nothing to worry about. I don’t see Callen in a relationship.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I kind of wonder if they finally put Kensi and Deeks together because so many fans of Tony and Ziva got annoyed with them not together. But knowing the directors they are making a big to do over nothing and knowing Callen he will probably get out of it.

Could it be because of this neighbour Elise whose writing a blog about Callen, as to why Sam has set him up on a blind date? I noticed that there is an Elise mentioned in the guest list for this episode.

I wonder who it is that will be put in danger… Maybe Nell out in the field again? Or Granger? Callen during an undercover op?

I am with Charla and skippy when it comes to Callen and romance. I am fine with Kensi and Deeks and with the flirting between Eric and Nell but I don’t need any more romance on the show.
As much as I want him to be happy I don’t see Callen in a relationship.
And don’t get me started on Paris…

However, I am hoping for great Sam and Callen banter arising out of this situation!

And just like BH72 I was thinking that Callen’s blogging neighbor Elise could be involved when reading the list of guest cast. It would be great if they would bring the topic up again – that was hilarious…

„The mysterious stranger“ who’s „big and strong with striking blue eyes“ – I would be happy to hear more about that – the more Callen, the better, imo 🙂

The first thing I checked was the cast list to see what female names were listed, once I read that Sam was setting up Callen on a blind date. With the blind date & if the Elise listed is Callen’s blogger, we should at least be set up from some great banter.

But let’s be clear, NCIS LA is pure action/entertainment, not a soap. Kensi & Deeks – well we haven’t really witnessed too much between them and we know that later on something happens to hamper their progress as a couple…so we probably wont see anything. This date thing with Callen will hopefully just be underlining banter in the episode and unsuccessful.

To me Callen is meant to be single, and agreed, we all know how misleading spoilers can be.

I think Kensi is the one put in danger. The private military contractors sound similar to the case she is pursuing. The White Ghost is a military contractor. That’s probably why Granger comes over to LA, and it may also be connected to the snitch.
