It comes to no surprise to her devoted fans that in high school, Renée Felice Smith was voted most likely to win an Oscar! She had her first break in a Dannon yogurt commercial when she was just six and her career was off and running.
A New York native, Renée was born on January 16, 1985 and graduated with honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she double majored in Drama and Journalism and minored in History. While at NYU, she studied commedia dell’arte in Florence, Italy. Renée has appeared on the big screen in Tony Kaye’s latest film, Detachment opposite Lucy Liu and off-Broadway in Second Stage’s Wildflower.
Renée is devoted to her French Bulldog, Hugo who is set to star in his own children’s book written by Renée. Followers on Twitter enjoy reading Renée tweets and sharing her unique perspective of the world in her wonderful design photographs that she routinely posts. Renée won the role of the quirky and off-beat Nell Jones and became a regular during the second season of NCIS: Los Angeles.
