Time to meet Marty Deeks’ mom
Watch out for mama, Marty.
NCIS: Los Angeles is about to get a visit from Pamela Reed, best known for her stint on Parks and Recreation. EW has learned exclusively that she’ll play Mrs. Deeks, the mother of Marty (Eric Christian Olsen).
“It will come as a shock, but yes … Deeks does have a mother!” executive producer Shane Brennan tells EW. “A big moment for Kensi when they finally meet, a bigger moment for Deeks and another memorable NCIS: LA moment for the fans as we lift the veil — or in this case, the apron — on one of our much-loved characters.”

These two pictures show Eric Christian Olsen and Mercedes Mason having a lot of fun on the NCIS Los Angeles set on Wednesday, August 5th.
They also indicate that Talia (Mason’s character from end of S4 and beginning of S5) will be back and from the looks will be working with Deeks. And Kensi ??

This episode announced to be a ‘game-changing’ one was written by Dave Kalstein (last picture) and directed by Eric Laneuville (first picture on the right).

Thanks to director James Hanlon we now know that the third episode produced in NCISLA Season Seven was written by Andrew Bartels. That same duo worked on 6×08 The Grey Man.
