Callen puts the “G.” in “OMG” when NCIS: Los Angeles opens Season 7, as seen in these exclusive photos from the CBS drama’s Monday, Sept. 21 premiere.
Picking up three months after the finale, in which Hetty (played by Linda Hunt) informed/fibbed to Callen (Chris O’Donnell) that his father was dead, “We discover that Callen has been doing his own investigation into something,” showrunner Shane Brennan tells TVLine. And as a result of his rogue op, “He finds himself in a very difficult situation with Hetty and Sam (LL Cool J), because he’s not telling them what he’s got himself caught up in.”

Because we haven’t seen this like… a thousand times?
Anitcipation just turned down a notch. But maybe I’m wrong and it will be an interesting ep.
Can’t wait for this! Expectations are now high and the teaser pictures and text suggest conflict between Callen and Sam and Callen and Hetty. Neither of which we have seen before (except with Hetty in Raven & Swans). And Callen never goes rogue, just lone wolf, so to see him totally off the grid will be fun.
But whatever they through at us, I really enjoy this show and rarely dislike any episode or character.
Nice to start a fresh and not pick up from a cliff hanger, love Callen going rogue, and good to see the story line will be picked again later in the season, the ” scruffy” look suits him undercover, but will we get to see him in glasses again?
Hetty won’ t be pleased… And Sam will have another opportunity to tell his partner off, all good fun.
This should be good.
I can’t wait!!! This sounds so exciting. What a great way to start the season!

And if the rogue story line gives me Callen with a nice beard so much the better. Simple pleasures,

HOW AFTER THIS INFORMATION I SUPPOSE STAND 32 DAYS (in my country 33)?! Nooooo! So long we have to wait :(. That’s it I going watch replays ;).
Finally. I hope the tension between Callen and Sam and Callen and Hetty will last longer and not only one episode. The question is what is he investigating and since when? Why does the team want him back now and why wait this long to pull him out?
This could be a great arc through this season till the finale including the mentioned mid-season episodes. Maybe the writers get back on track which would be great.
More Callen and Sam is not on my wish list, but I am still looking forward to the new season.
