Sounds like the 3rd or 4th Callen/Sam centered episode in a row. I’m not sure, what to expect, because these kind of episodes weren’t my favorite in this season so far, but won’t judge beforehand. I’ll wait and see.

      “DIRECTED BY: Diana C. Valentine”

She is “mother” of Densi, maybe we get mix episode, not just Callen/Sam centered.

Well, don’t forget that Diana Valentine directed the dreadful raccoon episode. I don’t have a lot of confidence.

Funny how you’re all focusing on the director though she only can work with what the writer gives her… wouldn’t it be more logical to look into Gil Grant’s eps… 😉

    1. Fenix

      Yeah, I know. 😉
Exactly for that I wrote word “maybe”.
Everyone knows this about her, so there is some hope.
With Gil Grant’s eps. you have good point as well.
So, let’s say, we just hope…from episode to episode, until end. 🙂

      Sindee,
I agree with you that even a great director has no control over terrible, nonsensical writing. However, I disagree with you about the “only” part. A director can do a lot in terms of guiding an actor to go bigger or smaller in portraying a character. Case in point: That dreadful Brunson character in 3 Raccoons who I assume was supposed to come off as a live wire, but instead was unbearably annoying (it takes a lot of annoying to make me never rewatch Sam undercover scenes, but that character achieved just that.) Another case in point: that smarmy Paul Angelo character – I have no idea what he was supposed to be, but all I got from the character was a huge WTF. A strong director could have guided both actors to remember that their respective characters were supposed to resemble people who might actually exist on Planet Earth.

I really hope we will see more then just Sam/Callen centered episodes. They never are my favorite, but when it is a good one, I can make an exception.. However, the episodes we have seen this season werw not. I hope to see something more of the other members of the team, if not the whole team.
