She’s back! Fun on the horizon! Wait, she has a gun in interrogation. What could that mean…? #rhetoricalquestion

Today’s first shootout, right on schedule.

She must have had a 6th sense to take that gun with her… I admit, she looks badass with that thing.

He’s planning to take over the homeless act from Deeks or somebody just stole his razor and murdered his hairdresser?

Romantic dinner for two? Nice.

I’m sorry what? Propose?

Eric to the rescue! With one whistle put the lid back on the can of worms – as usual.

What kind of plumber can’t do his job on time? I know, all of them. But why call the owner every 5 minutes?

What, DEA wasn’t hacked? Just simple misuse of user rights? That’s a first.

What the…? They parted with a BFF hug last time (or I was drunk or high on something strong…), why so cold now?

„Never thought I’d say that again.” „Makes two of us.” Make that three. Flirting again? And she has a partner for 15 years? The writers were drunk or didn’t remember „Fish out of the Water?”

So much from the safety of the safe house. What are those walls made of? Paper? Because it’s not brick that’s for sure.

Sooooo, the „mysterious” Callen isn’t so mysterious afterall. Wait, did those 2 geeks hacked one of the most secure firms in a matter of minutes? Supergeeks with timecontrol or what? Of course Mr. Perfect Sam never failed a test.

Back to bleeding Talia out? I must have watched another show a year ago to see these two hugging… And what the hell is Deeks hiding? Talia’s right, he is an idiot sometimes.

That’s an easy interrogation. Guy cracked in 2 minutes and gives up everything? And he’s supposed to be smart?

What was that all about? Serously? Stealing gas? That’s all? No guns, no bombs, no death?

Oh, OK, dead guy of the week confirmed, phew. Nice touch with the car accident.

Oooh, look… a message! And a CLUE to the investigators

That is a so lady-like way to peel the orange… What is Callen focusing on?

Is that a hint? „You are way beyond self-help.” Oh, nice jab. So, Callen does have humour?

Nice joke from Deeks. Didn’t see that one coming. Why is Callen and Joelle’s relationship always coming up in a way like it’s not all pink and fluffy anymore?

„That inspires happiness.” Yep, I second that.

Ohh, bad guy of the week. Mugshot is a little sketchy. A terrorist holding a gun gangsta style? WTF?

So, Granger is calling the shots again. Where is Hetty?

I’m sorry, wife? More like daughter. How old is she? 14?

14 mins until the first appearance. Is it just me, or Hetty is pretty much lurking in the dark and does not appear a lot in this season?

Busted. But in this case, that looks like a swing and miss.

NCIS Los Angeles ‘The Long Goodbye’ – Review by A Virtual Scrawl

The atrocious terror attacks in Paris on Friday meant the scheduled episode of NCISLA (“Defectors” – teenage girls recruited by ISIS), was withheld. The teasers had shown Deeks being arrested by LAPD, which led into the following episode “Internal Affairs”, and the re-jigging means both episodes have been pushed back by a week. Instead is “The Long Goodbye”, written by Dave Kalstein and originally scheduled to air after Internal Affairs at the start of December. The beauty of NCISLA being a procedural is there is a mixture of standalone episodes, two-parters, and those which contribute to an overall season arc. “The Long Goodbye” can be viewed on its own, but may well contribute to the Sam-centric finale (as teased by Shane Brennan).

This episode is reminiscent of one of Kalstein’s early season one episodes, “Past Lives”. Both deal with the aftermath of long term undercover operations. Past Lives dealt with Callen sleeping with (using or falling for?) the sister of one of his marks, to the extent that her four year old child may have been his. Callen felt guilt and confusion around the web of lies he spun, questioning which truth he should reveal, if any. This time, Kalstein has revisited Sam and Jada, a character the audience was briefly reminded of earlier in season seven (Driving Miss Diaz).

Four years ago when Sam was undercover in Sudan with war criminal Tahir Khaled, he convinced Tahir’s sister Jada to fall in love with him. Sam’s cover was blown but he escaped with Jada back to the States, where he destroyed her hopes and dreams; she would have to testify against her brother and enter witness protection or be sent back to Sudan, where her brother would kill her. Either way, she would never see Sam again.

Not everyone is thrilled to meet with Talia… (Continuity fits with the last episode featuring Talia, wow, that’s a new one)

So, up to an emotionally involved man, how uncomfortable he makes the prisoner? Choice of the year…

NCIS Los Angeles ‘Blame It On Rio’ Picture Review by Mogorva

Hi everyone!

A few words in advance. In the last 2+ years we took sindee’s picture reviews for granted (at least I did). They were always funny, catched every important moment of the episodes and made the talking about the episodes so much colorful. But it looks like, sometimes life gets in the way of making those reviews, and I sorely missed them. So, long story short, after a long self-debate and a final push from sindee, I decided to fill in the gap, at least until our favorite no1 fan catches up with the show.

What you can expect from me: well, a picture review, spiked with snarky, sarcastic, ironic, emotional – as it comes in the specific episode/scene – comments and maybe some scratchy humor. Polcor reviews aren’t guaranteed but I’ll try. Also expect some grammar mistakes and typos, since english isn’t my native tongue.

What you can’t expect from me: sindee’s reviews. I think that’s obvious, they’re sindee’s not mine. I’m not planning a takeover, just jumping in, let’s see where all this leads.

Also, constructive criticism is very welcome, that’s my first attempt at writing anything.

Now that all of this is out of the way, here comes the review.
