Bio

Barrett Foa was born to be an entertainer. From his summers spent at the Interlochen Arts Camp to his graduating with honors in musical theatre performance from the University of Michigan, Barrett single mindedly pursued his interest in live theater. He spent time working with a number of summer stock theatre groups throughout the country and took a semester to study Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Born on September 18, 1977 Barrett was raised in New York City and landed his first major role starring as Jesus in the off-Broadway revival of Godspell. He went on to make his Broadway debut in 2001 in the original cast of Momma Mia. He continued to work around the country accepting roles in popular works such as the Fantasticks, Camelot, Avenue Q, and the Pirates of Penzance. While performing in Avenue Q, he was offered a role in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee which lasted for almost a year.

Since moving to Los Angeles in January 2009, Foa has been a recurring guest on Entourage and guest-starred on Numb3rs and The Closer. In 2009, Foa was cast in the recurring role on the television series NCIS: Los Angeles as our favorite teckie, Eric Beale, and in January 2010, the role was upgraded to series regular.  Barrett lives in Los Angeles with his canine companion, Scotch.
