Linda Hunt As Hetty Lange On New CBS Hit Show ‘Scorpion’

SCORPION, inspired by a true story, is a high-octane drama about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age. As Homeland Security’s new think tank, O’Brien’s “Scorpion” team includes Toby Curtis, an expert behaviorist who can read anyone; Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy; and Sylvester Dodd, a statistics guru. Pooling their extensive technological knowledge to solve mind-boggling predicaments amazes federal agent Cabe Gallo, who shares a harrowing history with O’Brien. However, while this socially awkward group is comfortable with each other’s humor and quirks, life outside their circle confounds them, so they rely on Paige Dineen, who has a young, gifted son, to translate the world for them. At last, these nerdy masterminds have found the perfect job: a place where they can apply their exceptional brainpower to solve the nation’s crises, while also helping each other learn how to fit in.

But sometimes even geniuses need a little help…

So in episode six of Scorpion’s first season “True Colors” Hetty chimes in to help the eccentric bunch in her beloved matter-of-factly manner.

We even get to learn something new about Hetty…

"When I was a customer in London I used to visit the Royal Stuart Museum."

“When I was a customer in London I used to visit the Royal Stuart Museum.”

The Scorpion team definitely amuses her…

Everyone gets a snarky comment…

"Aren't you a ray of sunshine."

“Aren’t you a ray of sunshine.”

…or even her “you-weren’t-just-asking-me-this” stare.

But then again…

"Wow, sometimes I even surprise myself."

“Wow, sometimes I even surprise myself.”

And Hetty wouldn’t be Hetty if she didn’t have some words of wisdom for Walter…

Something made you understand that family's connection to the painting. Something. Or someone.

Or someone.

So, what do you think of Hetty’s appearance on Scorpion ??

Would you like other team members to appear in other shows as well ?? Who in which show ??

Feel free to chat about “Scorpion” in general as well if you like…

Last but not least… the Scorpion guys accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge from NCISLA 🙂

Hollywood bungalow of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ star Linda Hunt and Karen Klein is a light-filled space

In a historic Hollywood neighborhood filled with modest side-by-side period revival homes, the 1919 bungalow of Linda Hunt and Karen Klein stands out for its refreshing mix of old and new.

From the street, the one-story home looks like a traditional Craftsman, but step inside and colorful interiors offer a profoundly modern greeting. It is a jewel-box home filled with carefully considered details and custom finishes ranging from antique door pulls to lavender-colored walls and graphic wallcoverings in surprising hues of purple and green.

“This house has whimsy and a special kind of elegance,” said Hunt, an Oscar-winning actress. “It’s welcoming.”

The couple appreciates the home’s bright and sun-filled interiors, which set it apart from other Craftsman homes in the neighborhood.

“We lasted six months in a dark Craftsman down the street,” Klein, a retired therapist, said with a laugh.

They bought their current two-bedroom home with a plan to make better use of the cramped floor plan. They wanted a home that made sense, with free-flowing movement from room to room that would be suitable for them, their houseguests and dogs.

“We wanted to make better use of the space,” Hunt said. “We wanted to use the house in a different way.”
