Sooo, what are your thoughts / comments / wishes for the Sixth Season of NCIS Los Angeles now that we have seen all of Season Five ??
At the risk of sounding like a broken record we’d like to remind everyone to be polite in their comments and respectful to other’s opinions. THX !!

Clear Densi line (no more unrealistic problems between them) put them together, but on screen put just few breadcrumbs.

More of Deeks’ backstory – why did he join the LAPD when he was a lawyer? – and more logic about his relationship with Kensi. He’s all in love with her for most of the season then suddenly he just backs off? Not realistic at all. Also, more on Callen’s story.
My wish for the producers/writers?
1. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s a great show as it is. DO NOT listen to fans who want you to resolve every conflict and do it yesterday. That’s what series finales are for. Hopefully, we won’t have one of those anytime soon.
2. Keep up the steady stream of Neric and Densi. A scene or two of character/relationship development per episode is enough. That’s realistic and it doesn’t turn the show into a soap. For example, by the end of next season? Maybe Deeks and Kensi are comfortable with each other again and figure out what they want. Then the next season for serious dating…
3. Don’t bow to pressure and write out part of Kensi’s established personality (aka the playful punches) just because some people are overreacting. (To those over reactors: did you ever think Deeks might be exaggerating his reaction to play for sympathy? It’s their thing. It’s fine.)
4. Don’t EVER go to fanfiction.net for inspiration. With a few authors as exceptions, it has to be the worst collection of writing on the internet.

No more punches, no more Sayoc.
I want more Deeks backstory. What happened to him and his mom after he shot his father? Why is his last name different from his father’s? Where is his mom now? Also, why did he abandon being a lawyer to become a cop? How much of him is really Max Gentry? Why did Hetty recruit him in the first place, and how long was he on her radar?
Continue with the bromance – that’s one of the few things that the show got consistently right this season.
More background on Owen Granger. What dark secrets does he carry around with him? Does he feel remorse about anything?
Handle the whole Densi relationship more realistically and maturely. These are supposed to be two professionals, two mature adults who have been scarred by life and have to fight to overcome their own demons. Show me that. Not boxes and raccoons.
Bring back Michelle; bring back Talia, minus the cat fighting; bring back Grace Stevens; bring back Lt Bates.
No crossovers. If a show can’t stand on its own, then don’t have it dumping its mess all over another show.
I want :1) Densi to hook up (and get married but it’s a little early)
2) Hetty stop lying and using her agents
3) to know more about Deeks’ past
4) Callen to marry Joel (but I think it’s also kind of early)
And the list goes on and on……..

Okay here is what I wish for:
1. More Shane Brennan written episodes. He is the master, isn’t he?
2. NO more lovestories. This is a crime/drama TV show.
3. The villains should be more intelligent and therefor an equal adversary for the team. And bit more marksmanship for the villains would be also more realistic because sometimes it seems too unreal with 2 or 4 agents against a bunch of bad guys shooting but the good always come out without a scratch.
4. Some friction in the team would be interesting. It all seems to be like “we are all a big family and love each other” and this could get boring after a while.
5. More action like one to one fights etc. (and I don’t mean the Kensi punches Deeks, because this is annoying)
6. And more Granger to shake up the harmony in the team. I would love to see Callen and Granger in several disputes because of there differents of opinions.
And no, NO Granger and Callen friendship. As mentioned before I like a bit of a friction.
Ok, I love you. EVERYTHING you said needs to be heard!! Especially the one big happy; NEVER happens even though we all want it to. We’re human and we annoy others & others annoy us at some point in our lives.
Granger can’t be the ONLY one who can do that to Callen. 😉

What I would like for Season 6 (writers please take note)
1. Make up their minds about Kensi and Deeks! First they are then their not and if they are not WHY is Kensi treating Deeks like nothing happened! (and stop beating up on Deeks)
2. More of Granger/Hetty’s past what happened?
3. Keep the Callen/Sam Bromance
4. Callen’s personal life. Bring Joelle back. More hints about his family, maybe WHY he can’t remember!
5. When something happens to one of the characters (example: Deeks torture, Kensi’s mission in Afghanistan) Show how they are coping. Walking around and joking is NOT coping when you’ve had a drill to your teeth!
6. NO MORE TALK ABOUT THE WHITE GHOST!
7. Bring back Michelle and maybe have Sam’s kid on.
8. Give us a cliffhanger that has us go “WOW! Didn’t see that coming” instead of “I know what’s going to happen” 15 minutes before the show ends. (Hell even my Hubby knew last nights was going to happen and he hardly watches the show)
Don’t bring back Joelle!
Let Callen and Granger go head to head regarding what happened to Hetty.
More Nell but not with Eric!

No, seriously this is what I love to see ins Season 6:
-An episode (or a 2-parter) entitled DEEKS, M.!!! (Itś high time for that backstory
-Continue the bromance
-Granger (and Granger/Hetty) backstory
– Keep Hetty around
– Mix up the partners once in a while BUT in a GOOD way, that is, within a feasible story context in order to glean new insights into the characters from that new pairing
-in that vein: give us a Deeks-Callen team-up and partner Nell with Deeks again for an ep – liked those 2 together, would take Deeks Sam as well ; )) (yeah I am partial to Deeks, what makes you say that ; )))
-please portray the Kensi-Deeks relationship in a grown-up, realistic manner, keep the metaphors to a minimum while doing it
-get them together but make it interesting as well as emotionally and psychologically satisfying as they get there
-continue the character growth: so keep punching to a minimum (yeah we all know some people (Kensi) express their affection violently and physically; but let her grow out of it a bit – same goes for Deeks’ babbling, itś part of him but stop overusing it
-when something drastic happens to a character reflect it in a couple of episodes (the Deeks torture aftermath was handled quite well)
-AGENT DEEKS, maybe?
-continue to take the cases as a canvas to display the characters’ journey on (read crime solving is nice but I watch for the people portrayed, the chemistry, and the acting more so than the crime solving

I’ d like to see more Neric; I think geek love is cute.!!! Should it be at the forefront, no, but the relationships like Densi and Neric should be included to make the stories believable. How many places do you know have only one person with a significant other?
Also, Nell’s and Eric’s backstories are of interest to me. I agree with Fenix. If the writers need inspiration, fanfiction.net is a great place to start.
I’d love to see Sam’s family and more on Callen’s background (still some loose ends to tie up). And Densi need to get their groove back (on and off the job)!
Finall, Hetty should stay. And we need info about her and Granger- say backstories.
-Move forward with Deeks & Kensi or just let them drop (Talia wouldn’t be bad for a girlfriend). You also wouldn’t know they were involved earlier in the season based on these last few episodes.
-Stop with the Deeks punching.
-Backstory backstory for Deeks please; it’s been a long time coming.
i want them to finally make Deeks & Kensi a real couple and have then stay that way no more of this lame metaphors & boxes i mean they are adults for gud sake stop the back pedalling with them just give us Densi fans what we want already,bring back Monty and Kensi mom,and more backstorys about Deeks,
Neric – poop or get off the pot please. It’s become boring and stale over the many years we’ve been subjected to the tedious ‘will they or won’t they’ lines. Let’s see more of both Eric and Nell but let’s treat them like individuals.
But my biggest wish is that some people involved in the show STOP with the social media trolling. Don’t give us untrue teasers anymore. There were so many throughout Season 5 and it led to bitterness and disappointment.
Agree with the prior comments re: Densi & Neric – just do it. And can be exactly like Callen/Joelle, Sam/Michelle – common knowledge, occasional reference on camera, mostly not seen. It doesn’t need to overtake the cases, but move the relationships forward.
Also agree with social media spoilers. I have taken the last few with a grain of salt.

Back to a consistent Hetty storyline (if she’s still around). The first few seasons she was enigmatic. That’s great. The last season and a half she has been erratic. Much less enjoyable.
I would love to see more backstory on Deeks, Eric, & Nell. Out of the entire cast, these three are the ones we know the least about. Lots of questions are still are not answered about these three characters.
I would also love to see a past LAPD case/adversary of Deeks become part of a NCIS LA investigation and maybe see some other alias’s of Deeks come out to play.

Deeks’ backstory
Eric to be developed more
Consistency in character
Better written episodes with better dialogue
Humor in episodes, not silliness
Better villains
Positive movement with Deeks and Kensi
First of all, season 5 was supposed to be Callen’s season..it WASN’T so let season 6 be more focused on him (his pas,family,etc.) I’m pretty sure he was running a private investigation.
HOWEVER, please don’t make Joelle come back. I didn’t like how it all started,even though she’s nice…if you want him to get into dating let him find someone on his own.
-Let Callen be Callen again.
– I’d like to find out more about Granger. He’s such a complex character..let’s use that!
-do something,whatever it is, about Densi,take it or leave it, this is getting ridiculous.
– An episode titled “Deeks,M” it’s about time we get to see this one.
-I’d also like to know why Hetty trusts Nell so much.

I agree. No more Joelle and Callen. I like the Callen in seasons 1-4. Really no romance period. I thought I had read a interview with Shane Brennen once that NCISLA was supposed to be just agents and the case not personal life. I watch for the crime drama. I watch Downton Abby for fluffy romance. Deeks and Kensi need to act like adults and not high school kids. Either talk about your feelings or don’t just make up your mind already. I want to hear more about Granger/Hetty’s backstory. How they met, what happened between them etc. I also want to know more about Nell/Hetty’s backstory. Hetty seems to really trust her more than Callen.
Kensi to learn the truth about Afghanistan. The last time Nell had this big secret she had to keep from someone (kensi) she couldn’t do it and now all of a suden Nell and Hetty are in cahoots about the truth together when she and Kensi are supposed to be these really good friends at the same time? Don’t buy it!
Also brining back Talia did nothing for the finale, not for the plot, the character development, ANYTHING! All she did was stick out her boobs and tell Deeks something he would already know being a LAPD Undercover Detective. Plus she doesn’t even go with Kensi and Deeks to help Sam and Callen?
And like everyone else I was really disappointed with a season that was heralded to be all about Densi and their relationship did and said nothing about their relationship other than show they care about each other, had a non-date date, returned a knife, and had a metaphorical box, and a jealous cat fight. I get that drawing this out is what draws in viewers and ratings and add revenue from the time slot but come on! JAG drew out the Harmon Mac relationship until the series finale and STILL din’t answer anything since the episode ended with the coin toss still in the air (literately), on its spin off Tony and Ziva finally take that step but she is staying in Israel since Cote left the show and now this run around in NCIS: LA?
Oh and the whole premise of NCIS: LA when first introduced was that they did undercover work. I get that Daniela being pregnant threw a bit of a monkey wrench into everything but there wasn’t a whole lot of undercover work this season as compared to the previous seasons. The nice thing about this season and the Afghanistan story line was that it gave the character of Kensi closure on the whole “where is Jack and what happened to him?” deal she had been carrying around and that it gave Nell a chance to shine as a field agent. And since we now know that Nell really does want to be an agent how is that going to work? Are they going to keep rotating her in with the other members of the team or will they FINALLY bring Peter Gambor back as Nate full time (something that I never agreed with moving him from a regular to a barely reoccurring character)?
What do I want to see in season 6? 1) I would like to see them tie up loose ends. How did Kensi bounce back so fast from her time in Afghanistan? What about Callen’s father?
2) Please fill us in on the backgrounds of our favourite characters. Callen?Deeks? etc
3) Be consistent. Don’t just throw away characters like Joelle or Jack.
4) Show us the relationship of characters in the past. Hetty, Granger etc
5) let’s get back to good action shows and less reliance on romance all the time.
Biggest pet peeve: make the cases relevant to USMC and USN!!! Please. 😀

Writers and producers turn page, and manage comeback to reality.
Yes yes, less “artistic” things, will be fine.
Lame metaphores, boxes, raccoons, unrealistic problems, too stupid enemies, too heroic team without injury,… save for “artistic” comunity.
If you make show for them, use it.
Until then, make show for us, and give to us more reality, with “salty” of pure humor, realistically looks actions, scratches and bruises on team, solid and not all in the same key stories,…..
Then you survive, and we’re win back our old, and good NCIS LA, from season 4.

Either Densi to start acting like adults, or move on. Could we go back to being a grown up crime show? If I wanted a soap opera I would watch Dallas.
If the writers want to stay realistic, romantically involved people are not allowed to be on the same teams, I am 99% sure of this, because in real life there would be too much danger of putting their person ahead of the team.
I would love a Deeks M. Episode. Find out where he got his training, became a detective etc.
The crossover episode they did season 1 is still one of mt favorites. Random on Purpose, but that might be because I LOVE ABBY SHUTO. 🙂 so maybe they could do a NCIS NO that is as much fan girl as I will go tonight.

Granger to be more human with the team, the team, Callen mostly, to stop treating him as public enemy no. 1.

Adding to my season 6 wishlist:
I want as many episodes as possible to be written by Frank Military. The guy who brought us Descent, Ascension and Spoils of War has never let us down.
As has been said several times, coherent and adult Densi. It can be sweet, funny and sexy without being absurd or impede the normal development of the rest of the show.
I would like more continuity in personal frames: suddenly a chapter is very intense, then it seems that the terrible things that have happened to them have been forgotten.
And I personally like when the bad guys are not stupid or crazy mindless; coherent villain, with a coherent purpose for their wrongdoings, please.
Have I said sexy Densi already?
Sixth season I would like to:
Hetty little less than a puppeteer;
more power and credibility to Granger;
plausible stories and real enemies,
finally the end of Densi;
the past life of Martin;
Monty;
the return of Grace Stevens for Callen,

The stories to be realistic, and have some Navy in them, and for there to be some real deep undercover work.
Some information as the why Deeks gave up law.
The producers/ writers to take a look back to the early series and see what made it so much fun to watch.
I notice that towards the end if this series new writers have been introduced, this has been refreshing.
1. Have Deeks and/or Callen really cry, like sobbing.
2. Get Densi and Neric together.
3. Backstory on Deeks. (maybe that’s the episode when he could cry)

I think he was the most clever, intriguing and interesting villain of all seasons. He really challenged the team and let us know for the first time they can make mistakes! The only villain so far that really put the team through their paces (especially called which was great showed a lot of passion). He needs to return!! Breaks out of prison? Who knows. Jan-Vier always finds a way 😉
I think Janvier will come back to ruin Callen’s life. Janvier might find out about Callen’s girlfriend Joelle and use her against him and G Callen will have to save there might be a twist like Janvier kidnaps Joelle and makes a bomb so Callen has to choose save Joelle or find the bomb. I think Callen will save Joelle , while Sam , Kensi and Deeks going find the bomb. That would be a good episode I think ??!!
OR……didn’t Janvier mention he had a daughter? What if Joelle turned out to be his daughter. Wouldn’t that make for an interesting story. Far fetched I know but interesting none the less.
Janvier’s daughter is 16 years old and Joelle is in her 20s to 30s so if she can get from 16 to 30s that fast. Joelle is not Janvier’s daughter. I really hope Janvier comes back and i think he will come back to get at Callen by going after Joelle and she will find out about Callen’s job.
So Janvier will try get his revenge on Callen by going after Joelle. And that will be a good episode?

Lots of things I would love to see/happen for Season 6 are listed already. If I were to choose, I’d love to see Janvier back. In fact, I love to see some enemy from the past coming to play bad.
Most of all, I think the series needs to go back to its basics: action! Not too many of the (forced) lovestories.
But hey, I mostly like what the writers come up with 🙂 so, if any of them is reading: let’s see what you come up with. Love all of your hard work.
I have three items on my wishlist for season six:
1. What was on the notes Eric and Nell gave each other?
2. What is in the box?
3. What does the G stand for?!!

WISHLIST season 6 —
1) deeks’ backstory — sooooo many different ways to go on that
2) keep the “couples”/teams, but tone down the childish silliness and replace with mature adult humor/interaction.
3) speaking of teams….think outside the box — how about nell and kensi team up on a case or two? girl power?? (warriors in pink collaboration?) let’s face it, the navy and marines now include females so there MUST BE female-based storyline potential there … right “GUYS”?
4) i agree some punching needs to be curtailed just because it’s not always necessary to the scene AND i agree it’s PLAYFUL NOT VIOLENT and she does it because she can’t express her feelings. when deeks kissed kensi in S4, that was like kensi’s kryptonite so to curtail the punching ….(????? just a thought)….deeks could use a movie (kiss) scene like ‘catch and release’ to DISARM kensi (emotionally and eventually physically) and prove they’re actually on a level playing field and give her the same “honesty” lecture she always gives him. (go ahead and laugh at this scenario, but it’s surprisingly effective) TACTFULLY THOUGH — NO SOAP OPERA STORYLINES … IT”S A CRIME/DRAMA
5) i would LOVE grace (yeah! andrea roth!) to return and partner with callen HOWEVER, i still prefer callen (with sam) as a lone wolf in the emotions department. for someone his age who has been emotionally vacant, and alone his entire life, i don’t foresee a warm, fuzzy relationship with anyone but, he and grace have that in common and could probably feed off each other (homeless or displaced children of naval officers killed in action? or missing?).
6) sam/kensi partner up in a couple of episodes….2 INTENSE personalities that would kick some serious ass. AND deeks/callen – both similar pasts as far as being on their own but polar opposites emotionally and personality-wise.
7) granger WILL shake things up — i feel it in my bones……
8) …… as do i with the departure of hetty (please tell me that doesn’t mean linda hunt is retiring and leaving the show). contrary to other comments here, i enjoy hetty playing her games BUT… not sure it’s too consistent with past seasons where she was so supportive of the teams. (is this the beginning of a storyline for hetty’s mental decline and eventual departure from the series??)
9) loving the metaphoric play with “the box” and kensi’s knife. not as crazy about the racoons and frozen lake.
I’d like to see Deeks learning a new language f. e. Italian, maybe he practices already
I hope Elizabeth Bougus as Callen’s girlfriend Joelle comes back she is going a new tv show called Stalker when Ncis Los Angeles comes back on in the fall.
I hope she comes back Callen has to save her , she needs to find out about Callen’s , Sam’s and Michelle’s jobs and maybe Callen finally tells his friends that him and Joelle are together.
Maybe In time Callen will tell Joelle he loves her to

Ok, I have to add one more item to my wish list. After last night’s exciting LA Kings victory over the NY Rangers to win the Stanley Cup, I am now hoping that they somehow get the Stanley Cup on the show in some small way next season. Come on writers!
